I am an oil painter living and painting on the windward side of the Big Island of Hawai’i. When not painting, I can be found at the Arthur Johnsen Gallery, or dashing here and there, always with a camera handy to capture images of this beautiful landscape. I find great joy in playing with color, particularly the vibration when two brilliant colors meet. I want to explore this, push this as far as I can. The intense light and color in Hawai’i constantly inspire me, as does the lushness of the Hawaiian landscape—the millions of greens, the brilliant light, and deep the soft shadows. Enjoy the color!!
