The Spirit which gives me breath is both Universal and of Hawaii.
I am blessed to be able to create the carvings which Spirit puts before me with joy and great love. My new purpose is to saturate each carving with the divine love which is the universal solvent of all problems so that each life and home into which they enter is blessed in turn. My original livelihood was several decades of tree and landscaping work on the mainland and here in this beautiful Hawaii. After a fall from a tree, it left me with more things broken than not, I was moved by the Master Planner to begin engraving wooden boards of the la’au (plants) and holoholona (animals) of Hawaii so that children could make rubbings of them and touch the life of this (aina) land and wai (ocean).
In November of 1996, I was visited by uila (lightning). I use “visited” because it woke me up to a greater reality rather than killing my body. I feel blessed that Spirit killed my old ways. After this enlightenment, I was instructed by Spirit to give away all that I thought I owned so that my life could be refilled with my divine inheritance.
Since this awakening, Spirit has given thru my eyes and hands over 500 carvings, all of which were united with their caretaker prior to my completing them. I am satisfied that each new home, which these carvings from Spirit, found their way & carry the love and peace of Hawaii. If Spirit so moves you, I would love to create and bring into manifestation that carving which Spirit has for you. My prayer is always that it fill you with the kindness and courage to follow the path of truth and gentle love which is before you.
